Hi all,

Just popping in to say hi and to introduce myself to you!

I am reletivley new to astronomy aswell as this forum, i have carried an interest in astronomy for about a year and finally decided to get myself a telescope, i am so pleased i have, as in the 3 days i've had it i have seen some amazing sights.

I have a Skywatcher Explorer 130m on an EQ2 mount, i currently only have a 10mm, 25mm & x2 barlow lens, but am awaitng several other eyepieces and filters.

I hope to learn much from you guys and gals and look forward to some interesting discussions the likes of which i will not get in my home town!

Hi Geeza and welcome to the forum.

This is a good place to learn new stuff and to check existing understanding. Astronomy isn't difficult but like the night's sky, there quite a lot of it. To get the best out of your gear - dark skies are the key, so I hope your own skies are similar.

Clear skies for now.

James
