Hey, don't knock it!

At least you've imaged a solar prom...not too many people have done that.

I assume you're using the webcam?

The surface image, is as you probably know is pretty poor...

I don't know if you can adjust the exposure settings to give a different exposure for the proms (longer) and the surface (shorter)

Registax for the stacking??

Check out Jan Timmerman's webpage - he has a lot of good tips.

Hi Merlin

Taken with SPC900 webcam and stacked in Registax5 (6 now released)

Took most of last friday afternoon to get the images as it took me a long time to find focus point and settings in capture program so was rushing really before the sun went behind the trees.
