Hi Andy - You will need to have a camera cpable of taking long exposures. The SPC can be modded to do this. also you will probably need a motorised equatorial mount to negate the effects of field rotation in your images.

Anyone know if my telescope will be able to see the galaxy? It's 150mm aperture and 1400mm long and can anyone recommend a camera to me if it will be able to see galaxies or nebulae

Appreciate any help =D

Are you after a digital SLR are are you looking for a dedicated astro CCD camera. If dSLR then the Canon 350d, 400d 450d seem to be the entry level. Either way you'll need to have the scope driven as exposures will be too long without it.
