meade 4000 e/p's .....?

im looking at bidding for a 26mm e/p used. what would be a maximum to go to. as a novice im unsure

i think retail new they are bout £ 45.00.

anyone use these series ?

Yes, I have a few Meade 4ks, including the 26mm. It's a nice plossl but I tend to use my 32mm GSO Revelation more.

Price wise, I'd pay around the £30 mark.

I have in total bought about 12:o of these trying to match pairs for binoviewing and usually paid below £20. the earlier ones (heavier and longer bodied) are better than later ones and apparently the made in Japan ones are best of all and probably go for a bit more but I never got one of those)

The Series 4000 were the first serious eyepieces I bought many years back and I found them to be of excellent quality.

£16, that's a steal, well done.
