DIY Solar Filter

Took the opportunity of improving my inherited home made solar filter, well, OK chucking it and starting again,

Large sheet of cardboard remodelled

Baader Film attached by double sided tape to inside at front (offset) aperture and another layer of cardboard added to prevent end of tube scratching it.

PS... thanks to my understanding workmate who knows how to operate the plotting machine for cutting out the shape

Very tidy. I made my first filter today using a rubbish polycarbonate guiding ring. Turned out quite nice and it locks quite well on my scope with plastic screws.
