hi chris,

have you had your scope long? i've bought mine about 6 weeks ago and I'm really getting into astronomy now. Have you been to any local astro groups yet? I am also from plymouth and at some point soon i think i need to show mt ugly mug to other enthusiasts. welcome sgl, i hope you find sgl as fun and informative as i.

Hi Adamski and Matt. I agree, there does suddenly seem to be a lot of new members from Plymouth, hotbed of intergalactic activity!!!

I've had a scope for about 10 years....4" Tasco from Argos. Wife treated me to a new one in December and this has rekindled my enthusiasm somewhat. I have also just finished making a barndoor mount which I'm waiting for a clear night to try out. Watch this space when the clouds clear off.
