First pics of Mercury from a craft in orbit

hey all

NASA have released this first pic taken from a craft in orbit around Mercury. Messenger is currently sending over 300 more with over 75000 due in the next year

The main crater in the shot is called "Debussy" i think after the French musician

in my opinion!poor as it is? lol. it will look like the moon ,cause as our own moon was hit by asteroids. a satellite! mercury picking up pieces of leftover material being dragged to the sun but with its dense gravity and fast rotation its like running across the m6 in rush hour !! it only took how long to get there? back to the m6 lol

Nice pics - be interesting when theres some mor analysis or when the big giant letters saying "HELLO" are spotted on the surface !
