Saturn and moons - 29th March 2011

I had a go at capturing tonight's event of Saturn's major moons all being near to it. Had to oxerexpose the planet a lot to get them to show and even then I can only make out two so far.

Not gone through all the footage yet but I'm glad I even got to have a shot at it.

In the non-overexposed shot, Titan is barely visible but can just about be made out.

I believe the one just above the left ring tip is Rhea?

Yep, as fortune would have it I've been having loads of cloud that clears when something interesting is going on. It's back as normal now.

I'm feeling rather humbled by a certain other recent Saturn & moon pic though...
