Telescope shop in or near berkshire

The time has come, pay day, to get my first ever telescope:) I have seen lots of telescope shops online which are based miles away from me, Maidenhead in berkshire, but non near by. As i have the day off tomorrow i was going to try and buy my scope instead of oredering it, so need a good shop near me.

Does anyone know one near me?

just to add I'm looking for a skywatcher 250px solid tube dobsonian

A lot of shops would probably have to pre-stock the scope if you're going to pick it up.

Astronomia is in Dorking, near Guilford.

There's the Widescreen Centre near Baker street in London - easy to get to for you - train / bakerloo line. Only problem is if you have something heavy / massive to carry but a taxi back to Paddington is only a fiver. :-)

(I work in London but travel in from further up the Thames Valley)
