Is there a listing, by county, of all the astronomical clubs and societies? If so I would be obliged to anyone providing a link to it.

The Federation of Astronomical Societies has a UK-wide listing. Search under 'fedastro' on internet search engines and click on the societies link from the FAS homepage.

Thanks for the replies. I have followed the links given and attempted to Google - but without success. My son ( Alowen on here ) is now thinking of starting a club in the Penzance area. Surely with the recent boom of interest in astronomy it is a viable propostion? I live in a dark field site so there is somewhere to begin observing nights.
