I was desperate for my posts to go up so i could hopefully get a bargain in the for sale section ,but now i have it is obvious i still have a lot to learn as looking at most of the ads i have no idea what they are selling

Keep checking - great bargains come up regularly. I got my 24mm hyperion from the For Sale section for 50% off the shop price.

Just google things....that way you'll learn a lot and find out what you actually need, as opposed to what you think you need

Have you joined the local astro club yet?

There are lots of folks there with loads of kit - from the commonplace to the exotic, and almost all of them would be happy to let you have a go on theirs or advise you on what to get.

Nothing like trying before you buy!
