Hello from Texas everyone. We are just starting our springtime here after what has seemed like a very long winter. I'm mostly into Solar imaging and hope to post soon to the sun section of the forum. I've been shoot'n the Sun since 2000 and enjoy solar as well as planetary imaging. I look forward to getting to know the folks in the groups.

Thanks Andy.

Morning Star - I know what you mean, it seems the more you want a really good clear day the less the come around. Then you finally get one and you get stuck with doing something else on that day. Its a pretty cool hobby and can most closely be compared to the imaging of planetary or lunar shots. You use a fast shutter speed to get the best shots. The hard part is subject, it heats everything up quickly and its difficult to see the laptop at times.
