Seeking help in finding a padded case or bag to keep my sky watcher explorer 150pl. Any suggestions welcome.

you could try a music shop

they sell lots of padded cases / bags for instruments

you should find something you can use

Thanks Stick. Thats a good suggestion. My mate told me to check out some of the snowboard bags too. He says my scope might fit and they are pretty cheap too which is a bonus.

Yeah maybe a kids sleeping bag would be good. I'm gonna go camping soon so I could walking for a while. I woud have to attach straps somehow.

Find yourself an upholsterer or ask a dry cleaner who also does repairs. They can easily knock up a bespoke bag for you if you give them the scope to make a pattern from. You might have to supply the padded material, but that shouldn't be too hard to find. Or you could give them something that can be cannibalised.
