My first real Astro photos!!

hi all

Tried my first proper attempts at astrophotography with the DSLR last night, mainly DSO's and saturn last night.

im quite happy for a first attempt.

They are M3 cluster and Alcor & Mizar along with saturn.

Saturn looks very good. M3 seems a bit unclear. Tracking seems ok, but probably not enough stacks to clear it up? But very good for a first attempt!

Thanks all, the M3 pic was only one short 10sec exposure, same as the stars pic. just processed and cropped. My DSLR was attached directly to eyepiece tube via T ring adaptor. When i have another night i will pick this target again and get some longer lights and stack it all properly in DSS with darks etc.

Mainly spent the other night getting my head around things.
