blinky
As this was taken with Afocully (is that how you spell it?) with a 30mm EP I forgot to use the zoom on the camera! Ho Hum, its a bummer as this looks like the best shot of M42 I have taken. There is a little bit of star trailing, bit surprised at that as I thought my polar alingment was not too bad and it was only a 10-15second exposure! As usual I never took a dark frame, but overall all things considered its not too bad!
CELESCOPE
well u got it Blinky, but why are u doing it that way when you have Toucam , i never tried it but thought maybe m42 was bright enough to be capured to some degree with the Toucam , worth a go maybe , Rog Tracking as u say is out there even a rough alignment should be able to take in 20 secs, maybe check again on that one , Cheers Rog
blinky
I thought an unmodded Webcam would not be enough, will need to try that one. The scope was only very roughly alinged, I still dont know how to align correctly with the setting circles etc.
