I've got a perfectly useable case that I want to store my (astro!) bits and pieces in to keep them out from underneath 'er indoors dainty feet, however I need some new foam (or equivalent) to put in it and cut out the relevant sized holes etc - where can I get some from and is foam the best stuff to use?

Don't use regular foam as the little bits will get into everything. You need the proper packaging foam. Plastazote is one of the names to search for but unfortunately it will be probably be cheaper to buy a new case.

Maplins has some that are quite reasonable (£19.95)
