Star-tested the FLT98 just now. I used a home-made artificial star that proved a little oval. Solved that anomaly by shining it on a christmas tree decoration ball (silver) and aimed telescope at that instead. Perfect refraction rings on both sides of the focal point! That is promising indeed!

Yes, I have done a few shots and I'm not totally sure that it is OK... What do you say, is this good? Taken with the 1000D and processed in Pixinsight.

9 lights of 6 minutes each, no flats, no darks. Mounted on NEQ6, controlled with ASCOM/EQMOD via Cartes Ciel and PHD guiding. It lacks some detail because the conditions on my balcony are not ideal (LP, streetlights, neighbours etc).

If I could get an image like that I'd be delighted But I'm still new at this and have lesser (and less) equipment.
