well almost, just need a usb focuser controller to complete the comms setup.

obvious the power will all be battery supplied at the scope

oh and the smal matter of a scope and mount :hello2:



a bit irish way to do things! ?

The USB over Ethernet will be limited to less than 100mbit and may not provide enough bandwidth if using an imaging camera and guide scope camera plus other devices over the same link. With a DSLR size sensor the download times will be slow and if you are trying to capture video it may hamper the frame rate.

Just thought I would point it out if others were thinking of using a similar USB extension. Hopefully it will work for your circumstances.
