dove tail issue

:confused:Hi people,i've just purchased a skymax 127 mak on an auto track mount.Now the dove tail on the scope is about 45mm wide,the gap on the mount is about 50mm with the bottom edge (where the screw bolt is) being flat.so technically when the bolt is fully out of the way i can offer the scope face on instead of sliding into place.

It seems ok but is this normal?
