First go using Registax

Recommended Posts

Well it seems I have missed all the sunspot activity this week but I have just got my laptop 'sort of' working so I had a go at stacking DSLR images in Registax. I used a fast shutter speed and high iso, because the image was very unstable and I figured I have a better chance of catching a few sharp frames this way. I ended up with 33 frames which I stacked at more or less default settings. I played with the wavelets feature until I thought it looked nice, but I am not sure if it is surface structure, or if I have just aesthetically enhanced the noise :hello2:

I sharpened it a bit and turned it yellow using Photoshop elements 7. I am really pleased with how this has turned out.
