Saturn - 18th March 2011

Finally got some clear sky so out I went to have a look at Saturn.

It's very small compared to Jupiter but I was treated to some good steady seeing.

18th March 2011 at 2300UT, seeing II

Takahashi FS-128 with Baader MK IV Binoviewer at x180.

I had hints of a lighter shading just to the north of the NEB on the following side, but nothing convincing. Had a better view of the storm last month with my 8.5" - the main area of it was right on the CM back then, which was nice.
