telrad advice for a newbie...

because of the pants finder that came attached to my scope ,im going to get a telrad in the next week or two.

now my question is probably STUPID, but hey.

CAN I POSITION THE TELRAD ANYWHERE ON THE SCOPE? I.E ,ANYWHERE ALONG THE LENGTH OF MY TELESCOPE,AS OPPOSED TO THE VIEWING END?

just thinking of ease of use.so when viewing high up wont need to lie on the floor to use it
