Philip's Pocket Star Atlas

Recommended Posts

I have bought this and I have one one question, how the heck do you read the charts? they are damn near unintelligable, the text on the charts are really tiny. :o

Mark

Agree it is a bit small, an alternative is Sky and Telescpe's Pocket Sky Atlas, I have got them both and that one is the better for reading but is also the larger so I leave it at home. :(

And again for Sky and Telescope Pocket sky Atlas, in the past I used to work mine in conjunction with TUBA, you will find a reference to this at the beginning of the the Bino`s section, its a free download of star maps, you can reconfigure to suit your own requirements and then print to take outside in one of those plastic document thingy`s :)

John.
