First Moon pictures taken with basic digi camera

I am very new to all this but am finding it a great new hobby.I took these pictures using my Canon Ixus 70 Digital cam. I messed about with the settings but kept the exposure as normal. It took quite a while to see the image on the camera each time I offered it up to the scope eye piece I had to move it around all over the place before the moon appeared on the LCD screen.

Pictures where taken yesterday late afternoon while it was still just in daylight! I am quite impressed with my first attempt. I like the blue aurora.

some really good afocal images there, the blue line is like cromatic abberation found in refractors
