Just like Mars... I'm back!

Hello Chaps,

Just thought I'd poke me head in and shout a big hello. I still keep playing with me scope (ahem) so the hobbies here to stay I think.

I took my first ever pic of the Moon last night (I just held my Digital Camera up to the eyepiece) let me know what you think.

Cheers for the compliments lads. Sorry for the sudden departure. I bought some Demons back with me from the War and every so often I have to head to the hills to get shot of them.

But I'm pleased to say all is ok now, and taking the pic of the moon has got me even more into stargazing!

I bought some Demons back with me from the War and every so often I have to head to the hills to get shot of them.

Hi Spud i have a young brother who brought back some demons of his own from the war.

He also has to take some timeout from time to time.(ye gotta do what ye gotta do) respect to ya.

Bet you were surprised to see it turn out so good?

I was once told by an experienced astronomer not to bother holding a cam up to the eyepiece

cos it wouldn't work and like you i have a cracking image to show for it.

Nice feeling isn't it.
