Thanks for all the advice, everyone is very friendly here and you have all been a great help.

Have just picked up my first serious scope and mount. i opted in the end for the 200PDS and the HEQ5 synscan mount.

im so pleased with the setup and have found the goto very easy and accurate to set up. i had a quick look at the moon last night and was blown away with the views!!! i had to travel down south back to work after but i have 3 weeks off starting next week so cant wait.

hope to get some good images with my DSLR soon!

i picked it up from OPTICSTAR in SALE. They are highly recommended, very friendly and the best price by far. even got a free mains adapter and an imaging web cam for free. cant praise them enough!!
