NGC2903 final image

Tonight I got around to re processing this shot, adding into the mix the last 15 @ 5 minuite subs.

I held of on the final process ontil now as I did plan to add more Ha but I think this works as is.

The image is now L-Ha/R-G-B

L = 68 @ 5 mins

9 @ 20 mins Ha

15 @ 4 mins Bin x 2 Each for the RGB

The extra luminance data has smoothed this out well.

A fine piece of work. The little Ha sparkle really adds a sense of detail. This one is a beggar on colour, or so I found. You don't seem to have had any bother with it!

I know what you mean,the colour did not come easy, especially as I don't use an LP filter.

That's a cracking image Mike, The Ha has given it the slightest smattering of bling which just gives it a little lift .

Faint extensions have come out very strongly here, this is a lovely bight galaxy with core detail showing.
