Hi all

I have a SPC880 flashed to a 900 can somebody help me find the Phillips Vloung so I can ues my webcam on a laptop.

The philps website - you can down load the drivers etc

(I thought you needed Vlounge installed before the other capture programs would work? - I use Craterlet)

Don't use Vloung to capture images the data will be compressed and produce poorer results than the software mentioned above.

Stu, I agree with the use of other programs to capture but can you confirm you also need Vlounge in the "background" to allow the settings etc to be adjusted????

I would not suggest using the vLounge settings either, there's nothing to indicate whether the values have been increased or decreased, just a slider.

I'd suggest using WcCtrl - Description instead as you get a numeric value with the slider and can see directly how it's changed. And you can save setting profiles

No one is debating the Vlounge capture.... I'd just like to know - will the camera work if Vlounge has not been installed.-ever.

All you need is the cam driver installed. Vlounge is not needed.

I concur with Stuart, install the camera driver and SharpCap works fine with it.

(I have a new PC coming and I really thought you needed all that Philips stuff installed for the webcam...) learn something new each day.
