Ok guys, here goes.

Normally I take photos through the Vixen SP102 (thats a standard achro) and through the Solarscope 50 by photong them with my trusty Nkon Coolpix 4500 (3mp).

Im not getting the resolution that always expect. Recently I got a SPC900 (880 flashed - didnt we all?), so tried this with the whte light, at prime focus. Note, no barlow.

1st image, Sun white light nikon

2nd sunspot white light nikon

3rd Ha Nkon

4th Sunspot Webcam

5th Sunspot 2 Webcam

However in all cases with a TTL UV/IR block (the achro needs it).

Heres the results... m still playing with some. Note the original Ha shot nicely shows the prom going off. My wfe saw it too and was surprised that something astro could show the kind of change it did in Minutes.

(NB appologies for the faulty I key! when ts occurred)

Regards

Kev

I blame Malc for saying the forum would be quiet due to the good weather! <Wave Hi mate>
