I'll just have to settle for white light... Gotta say though, that AR1166 is a very impressive region.

Great stuff John, with just a doubled f/l 80mm 'frac, and all on a (presumably non-tracking) tripod? Very nice indeed.

Thanks Ivor, yep standard tripod with a 3 way head. Even at 1200mm, you can actually use quite long shutter speeds on the moon (1/15s) without any movement, it's hard to get long shutter speeds on the sun ... I actually pushed the ISO up higher to get a much faster shutter speed...
