Hello and welcome to SGL. I live about 20 miles east of Cork City and am new to astronomy, on a clear night with no moon, the milky way is very clear. But I did say on a clear night.....Mind you, since getting my first scope in mid January there have been a good few clear nights. I have also developed a heightened awareness of the weather now .. Ha
