sooren Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 Took my Meade LS out last night to primary try out a new eyepiece, bought the 18mm UWA Meade, the point is good views but the image is shaky or rather I expect you are going to tell me its my head that's shacking. Question is how do you guys & gals keep a rock steady image, the included 26mm does not suffer so mush being a wider angle. Si W Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 Hi Paul I suspect your tripod is wobbling, from the look of the LS tripod it's not far off the ETX in weight and size, what i did was to hang a 5 Ib weight from a piece of rope at the top of the tripod, help with stability.
