port comm problem

Hi

I have ordered a webcam from Dion over at AstronomyShed.

Then I had to order a prolific Serial to USB wire.

Ok, I got the drivers for it.

Check out the screenshot, Does anyone know how to sort this out?

The driver for the cable has not been installed. Right-click on the Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port highlighted in Device Manager, select Properties, then Driver, then Update Driver. Point it to the location that you have the driver CD/DVD Drive, Hard Drive, etc.

The best driver is already installed, That's what it says.

Windows said that the driver is already upto date.

Tried a different method, " Have Disk ".

Still gives some sort of error. code10
