Processing Software for DSO's?

Hi guys, I've been using registax to process my DSO's but have recently been told that DeepSkyStacker is better. What is the best (free ) software people are using?

For some reason the DeepSkyStacker website won't allow me to access it so if anyone has any other suggestions for anything better than Registax to stack/processs DSO's?

The DSS website is down at the moment - but they are working on it to get it back up.

Downloaded DSS, but it doesn't seem to like AVI's, ho hum back to the drawing room

I have downloaded and tried both, I found DSS much easier for stacking still images and working with dark frames etc but Registax is better for AVI's.

DSS is only for stacking and calibrating images, not really actual processing
