Hello fellow stargazers!

Just thought I'd introduce myself to you fine folks. I'm James and I hail from the north of Scotland where the skies are dark and the nights are (currently) nice and long. I've just acquired my first proper telescope and am looking forward to exploring our stellar neighbourhood. I have a background in astronomical imaging, so once funds allow I'll be building an imaging rig and look forward to sharing some of my photos.

For now I'll just share a few relevant photographs taken without the use of a telescope:
