Hypernova
No sign of the auroral ring over the UK, it seem to be extended over Siberia. It was level 9 earlier in the evening but it was still pointing the wrong way. There is a haze over us at the moment so I doubt there'd be much to see anyway

MikeWilson
I spent an hour setting up a first light imaging run of my first narrowband filter, I was busy struggling to focus on a star when I look up to see why I can't see it and wham - almost complete cloud cover. It's that thin, nasty, misty stuff that's almost completely opaque. Grrrr

yeti monster
I've had a 'vague' mention of a sighting in the pennines, although I have yet to recieve any firm report. Doesn't help me, being at 21 degrees North, the wrong side of the globe and clouded out....
