HELP!

Hi all,

everything is set up ready outside and polar alignment all done.

When I set the motors to track I don't get clear images. It's like the motor isn't moving fast enough... It is moving in the right direction.

Any thoughts? Is it possible the batteries need replacing?

Im not sure about this, is it moving too slow or too fast? It needs to be at sidereal rate, maybe its set to lunar or solar by mistake?

I don't think I have solar or lunar settings. It's the bog standard SW Dual Axis steppers.

It's working now though for some reason. I think I tightened the "clutch"?

The 1x rate is what you want - sidereal - and yes the clutches are supposed to be tightened up

Thanks for confirming that. Got a good set of data for the Pleiades tonight that I will process after I sleep haha!
