IOW star party this thursday on I'm looking forward to it as it's my first time for this one, anyone else going??.

I went last year with my other half and had a great time, the southern horizon is fantastic.

Take plenty of warm clothes though it can get a bit chilly, there is a warm room to pop into for a chat and a hot drink if you get do get cold.

Great friendly bunch of people, we got a warm welcome on arrival and enjoyed the whole weekend.

Can't go this year as I'm building an Observatory but will be going next year if we can.
