I could do with a little help...

I have installed dss and placed raw images, flats ect

and on producing the image, i have tried to save to file but....

the programme shuts down and autosaves in 32bit tif. which I am unable to use. I tried uninstall and reloading the images again and the same thing happens....? What have I done wrong and can this be rectified ...:):(

DSS saves a copy of the image after stacking as tiff or fits as selected in the Stacking Parameters, Output menu options.

I always 'Save Picture to File' after adjusting the RGB histograms, luminance, saturation, etc.

Save as 16bit tiff, with the changes made.

This is readable by Photoshop.

32bit save is not. Gimp expects 8 bit.
