Well I got dragged out to the wife's aunts birthday party last night so I missed the ISS / STS viewing. A little miffed about that seeing as it was the first clear night for three weeks here!

We got home about 11pm and to my amazement it was still clear. Unfortunately I had one or two "shandies" so was thinking about crashing out ..... until I looked over the next doors garage and saw Saturn rising. The temptation was unreal .....

I knew what I had to do, so on went the kettle and down went the extra strong tea. Five cups (my cups are pint size!) (and a plate of toast) later about 1:30am I braved the elements and set up to try and capture it.

SPC880NC YUV2

Gain 17/100

Shutter 1/50

10FPS

939/1226 (Classic 85%)

wxAstrocapture / Registax / no adjustments

I did try to Barlow it but due to either the alcohol or my poor Dob tracking skills, I couldn't get it in frame so gave up and settled for what I could find. Just cropped the image as there's nothing else going on in the surrounding areas.
