Hey peeps,

i live in south London and was wondering wether there was a star party coming up soon that was close enough for me to travel to. Im not best situated for this unfortunately. Most parties seem to be 2-3 hours drive away.

SGL6 isn't that far and is a good place for beginners.

There's the Isle of Wight star party, but you'll have to search for details cos the organisers don't seem to want to post them here.

Finally there is Salisbury Star Party, but that seems a bit up in the air at the moment.

sGL6 seems like your best bet. It's really not far - I travel from Surrey to it. Spare a thought for Andrew* who travelled from, IIRC, Aberdeen last year!

There's also Kelling Heath Spring equinox star party in Norfolk. Dunno if it's any nearer but it's another option for you

Which I go to with the family. Being in Sussex, it is quite easy from London.
