Cheap power station!

Just went in to B&M today and picked up a cheap power station for the Supatrak,

It's got standard 12v plug socket and comes with a lead, I priced the same power station in maplin at £39 but was only £25 from B&M.

ideal for ,y needs,funny went bm yesterday purposly looking for one as thought it was a likely place to get one at good price"as you did" couldnt find anything.Have to go back.

Do me a favour,the wall charger for it,is it a switchmode 15v at .5 amps?

The next door neighbour gave me a shot of this exact unit to jump start the camper last week. Brand new out the box and with a 18hr charge, it was totally useless.

Just letting you know as I'm sure it's marketed as a jump starter, no doubt it has a much more capable application as a 12v power pack for camping etc...

He mentioned he got his from bid.tv for £20.

Yea, they are never much good as a jump starter, they say crank power of 400amp but no way do they have that much crank power, if it's crank power your after best just grab a spare car battery.

Thanks for details on charger pak,cos i did get one from maplins at 29.99 17ah battery,but got it home,bent jump start leads,the copper nose bit,charger i thought maybe wrong as had to high a voltage to myself.

Took it back and got money back,going bm now lol checking again.

Just as a pointer, my local B&M didn't sell the power station, I got it from the larger B&M Home store.
