Still can't get M42 to show up, but perhaps I need a longer exposure, but I can't due to having no drive.

Still, I'm pleased with that.

You can clearly make out Orion

How about doing a stack and upping the iso to 800,you might get some more data that way ?

Lovely widefield. I'd echo the suggestion to up the ISO setting and stack some. Deep sky stacker is a nightmare until it works (you can't "get used to it", it's just like that) and then it'll do the business for you. Keep at it and you'll get there mate.

Getting there Kain , my only concern is , for 15 secs thats alot of LP there , think maybe the guys who use DSLR can maybe suggest some filter for that , and in turn some longer exposures and stacking of the images . i think once you get the finer points sorted out , you can be well on the way to getting the images you are after ,

But keep at it mate , takes time , all of a sudden it will spring into place

I have a baader moon and skyglow filter that I intend using with shots like this. Not had a chance to try it yet though due to weather and the like. Plus I have to get it back off CC at some point hehe

I couldn't sleep last night, so I just took this off the balcony, I usually go find somehwere dark to take these.
