Pluto demotion - Scientific American article

It's an excellent article, and a good response to people who, like me, wanted to keep Pluto for sentimental reasons. Knowing that what has happened to Pluto previously happened to Ceres (i.e. demotion from a planet) puts it in a completely different context.

Th article also gives a much better explanation of "Clearing the orbital zone" than we have had from the press, and make it much more reasonable.

Personally, I've grown to like the eight planet solar system, as it means I can see one more planet with my 6", and have them all. :D
