M35 Afocal

After taking a pic of M42 I thought I would have a go at one of my favourite Open Clusters M35.

Sames set-up

Fuji S5600

15 seconds ISO 800

25mm Orthosco[ic eyepiece.

That is a nice shot Ian. Well grabbed at 15secs.

M35 was always a fav. target of mine. I tried a number of times with my SLR on an 8"f6 reflextor, to get an image of a fainter compact cluster just south west of M35, NGC2158. Its a 12th. magnitude object, so it should have showed on the neg, but it always eluded me.

You did good with an afocal setup .
