Telescope Case

I am trying to find a sturdy case for my scope when I go out and about (away from the stupid street light right outside my backgarden!). I imagine people usually use cases to transport their scopes?

The scope is as per my signature.

Any help or advice would be most welcome.

Not many - I used to put my old 150P ota in the boot on a pile of blankets - never did it any harm. The more recent larger ota's get padded and bungee'd onto the back seat

You'll need to check the dimensions - that looks like a Mak, and your newtonian will be much longer!

Astro_baby - Rother Valley Optics have the case I mentioned. I did find one for yours on Amazon.com. I think it was located in the states. I just googled 180 Mak case.

Supercharged - Now that is very expensive!!! How can you charge £500+ for a case????

Davew - Not bad but the case I found is about the same price and looks much sturdier to be honest. Still worth a look though without a doubt.
