Hadnt realised you were on here too Danilo - used to seeing your images on abpa.

Well done, a really fine image.

Tell me something, the "your setup page" shows a mount on the balcony. Is that what you use now, and if so does that mean you end up polar aligning it every time?!

Love this image, especially like the presentation on the website where you have overlayed details of what each object is within the cluster.

Trouble is this image cannot be considered for POW because it isn't hosted on SGL.

Cheers

Oh WOW ... Thank you very much!!! You are all very generous! I regret not familiar with your language, but I make every effort to communicate my passion and I try to do this with the my pictures!

Kev,

yes. Each group of photo session I assemble and disassemble the setup and I do every time a new aligning to Polaris; but that's okay!

MartinB,

I served 4 months time to complete the mosaic of waiting for the good weather, even in Italy this time is very long! Several years ago the weather was much, much better!

Hi Danilo,

Yes, put the image onto the site. Then it can be considered next to all the other photos during the week.

Can I ask what the individual Sub exposure times were and how may subs made up one panel of the mosaic ?

I guessing at 20 / 30 minute subs but don't know.

That mosaic must have taken a few days to assemble. Beautiful stuff.

Dave.
