My First Ever Moon Pictures! - 8th Feb 2011

WOW!

I've taken my first ever pictures of The Moon tonight and WOW I'm amazed at the results I got :)

Considering i'm taking them afocal with a standard compact samsung 12MP camera they are pretty impressive.

The first is at x48, the second is at x120 and the third is at 200 or 240 i think.

Let me know what you think guys, but im really proud of my efforts :(

ps: i know they are upside down lol

Another member on here kindly did me a photoshop of 3 pictures i'd taken at x120 and here is the amazing result!

Look to me like someone has caught the imaging bug. It only gets more expensive from here on :(

Very nice.... would love to know how the photoshop bit worked... wonder if he could do the same on my attempt tonight with a web cam

You would benefit more with RegiStax V5 Download using a webcam.

Thanks for the link. Shows how old the Celestron NexImage CD is - it gives version 2 on the disk :(
