What did I see?

The other night, I was gazing around the area of the big dipper (near the handle) and happen to notice something with a tail zip by, it was kind of yellow/orange and was wondering if I saw a meteor or some space junk falling out of the sky? I've noticed this before once or twice in other constellations and was wondering what this might be? I've seen planes go by in my scopes and this is not it.

I would have thought it was a meteor. They are more common than you would think.
