Found some Miranda 10x25 bins - any good?

They are too small for astro use, OK for a bit of bird watching. You need 10 X 50 bins at least. The first figure is the magnification, the second is the diameter of the object lens, the bigger the more light, 50mm ( about 2") is generally accepted as the minimum usable.

They are not only of limited suitability because of the size, they are also optically and mechanically inadequate.

Old thread I know, but an apt statement for the 20x50's I 'found' in my loft today, same brand.
I don't recall buying or receiving these, so it's my assumption they belonged to one of the younger family members ?
